Author Bio

Robert Olen Butler is the Pulitzer Prize–winning author of nineteen novels, including Hell, A Small Hotel, Perfume River, and the Christopher Marlowe Cobb series. He has twice won a National Magazine Award in Fiction and received the 2013 F. Scott Fitzgerald Award for Outstanding Achievement in American Literature. John Harvey is the author of more than one hundred books, as well as poetry and scripts for television and radio. Harvey debuted his most famous character, Charlie Resnick, in 1989's Lonely Hearts, which the English Times called one of the finest crime novels of the century. Lisa Unger is a New York Times and internationally bestselling author. Her books are published in thirty-one languages, with millions of copies sold worldwide. In 2019, she received two Edgar Award nominations, an honor held by only a few writers including Agatha Christie. Peter Robinson is an award-winning author whose novels have been named a Best Book of the Year by Publishers Weekly, a Notable Book by the New York Times, and a Page Turner of the Week by People magazine. Simon Brett was educated at Dulwich College and Wadham College, Oxford, where he earned a First Class Honours Degree in English. He has written over seventy books. Many are crime novels, including the Charles Paris, Mrs. Pargeter, and the Feathering series.
