Endurance is a both a great story and a lesson in leadership. Sir Ernest Shackleton believed in the extraordinary capacity of the ordinary man and put his crew's welfare before his own.

The story of Shackleton's expedition aboard Endurance is told superbly by author Caroline Alexander, and the audiobook production does it justice. Readers Tezla and Ruben both read and perform - the excellent character dialects bring the production an impact I've seldom experience listening to an audiobook.
