I completely agree with the above review.
I so wish that The Mind's Eye theater productions were available on CD, my cassette won't play any more and they are the BEST adaptations of some wonderful book. These are not dry reading done by one person, they are fully acted productions, and I LOVE THEM.

I have loved this version of The Hobbit and LOTR since my parents bought the cassettes in 1980. I am so pleased they are still available commercially, because so much of what The Mind's Eye produced in the 1970s is long, long out of print. My cassettes are oxidizing, and most of the productions aren't even available on the secondary market anymore. Even interlibrary loans can't find everything. Why doesn't Highbridge acquire the rights to Wind in the Willows, The Light Princess, etc. so we can enjoy these again, too? (Posted on 9/18/11)
