I am not big on memoirs, but I found this author's hilarious take on life's ups and downs (mostly downs) to be thoroughly entertaining and inspiring. Moreover, anyone who has tried to overcome being raised in a conservative religious family of any denomination will identify with her loving and amusing description of her Mennonite family and upbringing. My husband and I listened to this book on a car trip, and it really kept us entertained. Although the story seems like it would appeal mainly to woman, my husband laughed out loud as much as I did.
