Fred Newman is an actor, writer, musician and sound designer for film and TV. He has created voices and sounds for dozens of movies including Gremlins I & II, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Practical Magic. Fred has received two Emmy nominations for his work on PBS's Between the Lions, and he has been a featured performer on A Prairie Home Companion since 2002.
