Author Bio

Ayesha S. Chaudhry is Canada Research Chair, and professor of gender and Islamic studies at the University of British Columbia. In 2018, she was named a Pierre Elliott Trudeau Fellow and a member of the Royal Society of Canada. She is the author of Domestic Violence and the Islamic Tradition.
