“Cotterill’s sense of humor is really what drives this. . . . Jeany Park was a good choice for the narration. . . . Her light, satirical tone matches that of the book perfectly.”

“A beautifully crafted look at life with a Thai twist. . . . Cotterill’s language is musical, with an offbeat cadence. . . . A solid plot runs neck and neck with the plain and simple joy of . . . a crackerjack narrative filled with droll humor and small asides that are never throwaways.”
