Author Bio

David Beerling is Sorby Professor of Natural Sciences and Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Climate Change Mitigation at the University of Sheffield. He has published numerous articles in academic journals and is the author of Vegetation and the Terrestrial Carbon Cycle (with Ian Woodward) and The Emerald Planet.
